MISSION
GeoCiv Engineering Consultants is an engineering firm that provides civil, environmental, water resources, geotechnical and structural solutions based in the heart of Sand Mountain, Alabama. At GeoCiv, quality means much more than a good deliverable and a Job Number. We are invested in the community and are dedicated to providing experienced staff, understanding projects expectations, and communicating throughout each phase to achieve the desired outcome.
We provide clients with engineering design and consulting services on projects that improve our communities, cities, and states. Our firm offers specialized expertise in water resources including Dams and Levees, hydraulics and hydrology, floodplain management, floodplain mapping and studies, FEMA Elevation Certifications, and Community Rating System (CRS). We have a P.E. on staff with significant water resources expertise and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) with expertise in Floodplain Management.
Our civil expertise includes stormwater management, erosion & sediment control plans (E&SC), construction best management practice plans (CBMPP), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPP), and stormwater inspections. We are able to help clients from beginning to end for stormwater management and the NPDES ADEM process in Alabama.
Our geotechnical engineering services includes Dam & Levee Safety, slope stability analysis, slope stabilization, well and aquifer evaluation, and seepage analysis. We have a Principal P.E. on staff with years of geotechnical experience who has worked for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on some of the nation’s most critical high hazard dams and levees.
We offer specialized structural engineering services for post-frame and pole barn building design, retaining walls and foundations, and solar/equipment design.
